Description
Myelostem 5mg Tablet contains the active constituent melphalan. It is an anticancer agent that belongs to the class of medications called alkylating agents. It is used to treat multiple myeloma (a type of cancer of the bone marrow). It is also used to treat advanced breast and ovarian cancer. In Ovarian cancer Ovarian cancer is a cancer that begins in the female organs that produce eggs (ovaries). This type of cancer is usually detected very late and can be fatal too. You should avoid drinking alcohol while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. In Multiple myeloma If you have multiple myeloma, your body is destroying bone faster than it is being replaced. This makes bones weak and painful and more likely to break.
