In Treatment of Anemia due to chronic kidney disease Anemia is a condition where your body does not have enough red blood cells to carry oxygen around your body. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) refers to the loss of normal kidney function over a long span of time. CKD progresses gradually over a few years but may become permanent if left untreated.
