Description
Elromo 50mg Tablet is an anticoagulant drug belonging to the thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist category, containing the active ingredient Eltrombopag. It treats low platelet counts caused by primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) or hepatitis C (HCV) infection. ITP refers to an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system destroys platelets. Platelets are blood cells that aid in clotting and protect blood vessel walls. When platelet levels are low, it can result in severe bleeding and bruising. This tablet is also used in adults to treat low blood counts caused by severe aplastic anaemia (a serious blood disease that occurs when the bone marrow fails to produce enough new blood cells).Benefits
